So, the next morning, Saturday morning, we girls got up, and I went down to the conference room for the worship service, and then we went to breakfast! The breakfasts and supper was held in the hotel restaurant. It was a very old-fashioned decorated place, and the tables were set really pretty. The breakfast buffet was great! There was biscuits, bacon, eggs, pancakes, fruit, and more. We 4 girls sat at a round table. It was really fun! After that, we had more sessions and worked at the Above Rubies table selling materials. In the afternoon, us girls and some other people walked into the downtown, to browse the shops and look around. It was fun. We enjoyed looking at really nice clothes in at least two boutiques. Meadow bought a really cute hat at one of them. I bought some fudge at a fudge place. Later, we had to rush back to the hotel, because Meadow had to help sing in the afternoon session. That night, we had a big dinner at the hotel. Fried chicken, grean beans, potatoes, etc. We sat with a really nice mother and daughter. In the evening session, Meadow sang by herself on the stage for the first time at a retreat. She sang a beautiful song she wrote, It is sorta informally named, "The Simple Life." She did really good! It moved some of us to tears to see her up there singing by herself. That night, we went swimming again. I tried to teach one of Mercy's friend's how to do the back float. It was fun. When we got back to our room, we played UNO. The game lasted extremely long. It was fun though. What a great retreat! I really enjoyed myself!

Serianna and I were able to go to the Nashville, Indiana women's retreat with the Campbells. Mr. Campbell rented a van and a UHAUL trailer and drove us all up. Mrs. Campbell, Mercy, Serene and Pearl, and their daughters and Shepherd came along too. It was a good trip. Nashville, Indiana, is a really quaint touristy type of place in the hills. We stayed at Brown Inn. Quite a nice place! When we got there, we unloaded, and Serianna and I set up the book table in the conference room. When we got there, we found out there wasn't going to be any supper, but the people graciously found some food for us to eat, so as the first session was starting, we were all sitting around a table in the back consuming fruit, yoghurt, and cheese. Fun stuff! I discovered that the hotel had an indoor pool. Yay, I was so excited! So, after the service, Meadow, Mercy, Serianna, and I, who were all staying in the same room, put on very funny swimming clothes, and went to the pool. None of had brought along legitimate swimming clothes, so we all looked pretty funny! We had so much fun though. The pool had nice warm water. It was really great! What a great day!

Meet Serianna!

Serianna!

Modeling some of the beautiful aprons Serianna made!

Hi! My name is Serianna Rosberg and I am the newest Rubies Girl. I am 18 years old and live from the dry mountain valley of Helena Montana, with my mom, dad, and two brothers. I devour books, and love to study history (and how it relates to the Bible and God's stantard) and music through violin, viola and piano. I am also an avid sewer, so it was fun to make aprons for Rubies Retreats. Even though my time at Above Rubies was short, it was very, very sweet, and I hope to return someday. Though there were some challenging things for me, I think I began to grow in the Lord through(in spite of) some of them. Devotions around the table with the Campbells was such a wonderful experience, and one I will not soon forget. Hannah and Mercy were wonderful compodre's and Mercy's spicy cooking has left all other food tasting very blande. Our God is awesome and is showing me that He is still on His throne! God Bless.
