Reading intently....can you spy Mrs. C?Last week on Thursday, we girls and Mercy got to go along with Mrs. Campbell to see the new issue of Above Rubies coming off the press!
We'd never seen anything like it, but it was so amazing. The whole place was just a buzz of big noisy machinery, all doing different jobs that had to do with printing. A really nice guy gave us a tour of everything, explaining how everything worked, and answering any questions we had. It was just totally awesome to see how 'Above Rubies' is made!
Hopefully the photos will give you a taste of how everything was!
Oh, we stopped in Franklin on the way home and had fun looking at wedding books in B and N with Emilee. (her sister's getting married.) Fun times!

ReplyDeleteHello dear Rubies! I am sooo jealous of your trip to the publishing company! WHAT FUN! =) I was also there when an issue came to be sent out... it was an intense but fun experience =) (but no, we didn't get to go see the magazines come off the press!!!) I love to read the updates and see pics of what is going on with other Rubie Girls and the AR office ... keep up the good work!!! (in the office and blogging =) Do you know if anyone is planning on a Rubie Girl reunion in the years to come?! It would be so fun to meet other fellow helpers and also to possibly see the Campbells again! Please let us know if you hear of anything in the works... if there isn't anything perhaps we should plan something sometime =)
