getting ready...
Isn't Gedi sooo cute?
Here are most of us girls
Chloe and MercyLast Sunday was Purim! What a fun, festive event! Everyone was encouraged to come dressed up as a Bible character from the book of Esther. (See the pictures!) It was very cool!
Mr. Johnson told the story of Esther to us in abridged form, but with all the important elements included. His version was creative . . . complete with poisoned waffles to kill the king! Everybody would cheer whenever Mordecai's name was mentioned and boo loudly for Haman. Eventually somebody asked, "hey, what do we do for the king and queen?" Mr. Johnson said, "Nothing!...Thankfully." Hahaha! =]
Here are photos of the many Esther's, Hadassah's, Vashti's, 'Candidates', and others. Looks like fun, yes? :)
