We were very privileged to recently go and hear David Rubin, ex-mayor of Shiloh, Israel, speak at New River Church. It was a very interesting experience. He is a God-fearing Jew who went back to Israel, after living in New York. It was amazing to see how he would read from his Bible in the Old Testament, but yet had not accepted Jesus as his Messiah. He has started "Shiloh Israel Children's Fund" to help children who have especially experienced trauma from the violence there in Israel. They seem to be doing a great work. We all need to be praying much for Israel and its inhabitants, that they would be protected and that they would come to know their Messiah! Their website is http://www.shilohisraelchildren.org/.
